AmeriCorps has partnered with the City of Moorhead Forestry Division with a mission to preserve and protect Minnesota’s environment and strengthen communities, with a focus on preserving and increasing tree canopy. Service may include watering trees, tree inventorying, tree planting, pulling posts from trees planted in the past, treating for emerald ash borer(EAB), citizen volunteer recruitment/training/utilization, and outreach and education events.

Americorps is currently recruiting for summer 2024. This is an AmeriCorps member position with Summer Impact Corps, and your commitment will be up to 40 hours per week beginning in June and working with the City of Moorhead Forestry Department.
